Pressure cook ½ cup toor dal + ½ cup rice + ¼ tsp Ravi Turmeric Powder + cut veggies of choice + 4 cups of water for 5 whistles. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, splutter ¼ tsp mustard seeds. Add ½ tsp urad dal + ½ tsp chana dal + curry leaves + cashew nuts. Once fried, Add 1 diced onion, tomato & capsicum, sauté. Add 3-4 tsp Ravi Bisibelebath Powder + tamarind pulp, salt (to taste). Cook well, adding water if required. Finish by transferring the contents into the pressure cooker, mix and cook on low flame for few minutes without lid. True Karnataka style Ravi Bisibelebath is ready to serve. SERVING TIP: best served hot with khara boondhi or aloo chips & a dollop of ghee.
